Wimbedon and Wandsworth is the local NCT branch nearest to me and I have been a member for over 30 years. Nct was founded in May 1956 and was started initially as a way to inform and support women and their new families who did not have their own family network nearby.

I really love being part of such a large group of local practitioners offering such a wide range of courses. Our Signature Antenatal classes, including sessions with our Breastfeeding Counsellors, and which I teach, are mostly for first time parents. A huge passion of mine is running Refresher courses for second time round etc and as a Tutor in NCT I travel up and down the country leading the study day for Antenatal Teachers on Teaching Refreshers.
